He began his professional journey in the insurance industry in 2004 with ICICI Lombard General Insurance Company Limited, where he spent several years working across SME and large corporate segments. Over the course of his career, he held leadership roles in sales and client management and went on to become one of the youngest Vice Presidents at the organisation. His experience spans advisory-led selling, complex risk solutions, and managing relationships with businesses across multiple industries.
An MBA from IIM Ahmedabad (Class of 2003) has shaped his approach to governance, strategic thinking, and sustainable value creation. However, it is his hands-on experience, particularly during claims, risk events, and crisis situations that has deeply influenced his belief that insurance is fundamentally a promise of support, not merely a financial transaction.
